Robert is a Lehigh Valley native, and graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and Moravian College. After leaving a career as an apparel executive in NYC in 2012, he went on to complete two graduate degrees in both mental and public health from Montreat College and Dartmouth College respectively.
His work as a psychotherapist is informed deeply by attachment theory and relational psychoanalysis, but concurrently places great emphasis on behavioral health interventions. He is an adjunct professor of psychology at Chestnut Hill College, and has had prior teaching posts at Northampton Community College and Lenoir-Rhyne University.
He also provides advisory and consulting services around health care reform and innovation. Past health reform initiatives have included Wake Forest Baptist's Cornerstone ACO, Lamoille Health Partners and most recently a Direct Primary Care Tele-health launch - Revive Health.
He is an outdoors enthusiast and advocate, enjoying hiking, cycling - road, gravel and MTB, alpine skiing and mountaineering. He also takes a particular interest in and advocates for the lifelong benefits of meditation, Intermittent Fasting, a Mediterranean style diet and particularly strength training.
